It is necessary to regularly monitor the effectiveness of rosters in consultation with colleagues and to identify ways in which rosters and roster development processes can be improved.
Roster refers to a list of employees working in an organization. Generally rosters means tables or charts that contain information about employee's name, employee’s identification number, name of the department where he is employed, employee’s designation, gross salary, contact details and employee’s personal details. It is necessary to regularly monitor the effectiveness of the employee’s roster with colleagues to conform that organization have adequate strength of manpower. Regular monitoring of rosters with colleagues is also important to ensure that there will no lack of potential employees and each employee has assigned proper work according to his capabilities. Rosters may be draw on papers or on computer. Because of high number of variables it is recommended that rosters should be draw and prepare on computer and software can be use for drawing rosters. Research and proper knowledge of the new technology and work practices may be also used for developing roster process.
